End User Licence Agreement
version 0.1.0-pre-launch · effective 2026-05-10
1. Acceptance
Use of Adventure Engine is conditional on your acceptance of this agreement. You accept by ticking the agreement box at sign-up or by using the service after a material update has been notified.
2. The service
Adventure Engine is an AI-narrated tabletop roleplaying experience ("the service"). It uses Anthropic, OpenAI, and fal.ai as third-party AI providers. Outputs are generative; they are not promised to be accurate, original, or fit for any particular purpose.
3. Your inputs
You warrant that any text, name, world description, or other input you supply does not infringe a third party's intellectual property. You indemnify us against any claim that your inputs do so. Our visible-rewrite engine catches common cases; you remain responsible.
4. Your outputs
Outputs (narration, voice) are generated by Anthropic and OpenAI under their respective indemnity terms. You may use the artefacts for personal, social and not-for-profit sharing. Commercial redistribution requires our written permission.
5. Independent product
Adventure Engine is an independent fantasy roleplaying experience with its own original rules, setting, and creatures. It is not produced, endorsed, sponsored, licensed, or approved by any other roleplaying-game publisher. All trademarks referenced are the property of their respective owners.
6. Conduct
Don't use the service to generate sexual content involving minors, content that harasses or dehumanises real-world protected groups, or content designed to defraud or impersonate real people. We may suspend or terminate your account if you do.
7. Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or any loss of data. Our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate your account for material breach with reasonable notice, and without notice for serious breach.
9. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
